Clear machine guards let operators see what's happening inside the enclosure while keeping hands and clothing away from moving parts. We manufacture guards from both acrylic and polycarbonate — the choice depends on the impact resistance required and the operating environment.
Polycarbonate is the standard choice for machine guarding where impact resistance matters. It's virtually unbreakable and maintains clarity even under stress. For lower-risk applications where chemical resistance is more important, acrylic offers better optical clarity and scratch resistance.

Materials & Specification
We work with polycarbonate from 3mm to 12mm thickness and acrylic from 3mm to 10mm. Guards can include drilled fixing holes, threaded inserts, hinged doors using piano hinges, magnetic catches and interlocking safety switch provisions.
We regularly work from customer CAD drawings, but we can also work from sketches and measurements — we'll produce technical drawings for approval before cutting starts. For replacement guards on existing machinery, we can work from the old guard or from on-site measurements.
