Trade questions

How trade accounts work

Who qualifies for a trade account?
Design and brand agencies, shopfitters, retail installers, exhibition stand builders, signmakers, prop and set builders, POS resellers, and other manufacturers who supply our work to their own clients.
What discount do trade accounts get?
Volume-based: typically 15–25% off list, scaling further on orders above £5,000 or rolling annual spend over £25,000. Exact structure set per account when you apply.
Do you offer extended payment terms?
Standard trade terms are net 30 days from invoice. Pro-forma for first order until credit references complete. Net 60 available for established agencies on request.
Can you supply white-label?
Yes — all trade work ships unbranded by default. No manufacturer markings, no website addresses, no ‘made by’ stickers. Direct-to-client delivery if needed.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes — mutual NDAs signed routinely. Particularly common for cosmetics, vape compliance, pre-launch product packaging and confidential museum work.
What's the typical lead time?
Trade orders run alongside our standard schedule. Small batches 5-10 working days, mid-range 2-3 weeks, large rollouts on 4-8 week programmes. Express 48hr available.
How do I apply?
Email info@thecuttingroomuk.co.uk with company name, registration number, VAT number if applicable, business sector, typical order size, and what you typically order. New trade accounts set up within 1-2 working days.
